In 2021, Roger Howarth’s character Austin Gatlin-Holt joined General Hospital. First, in the forests of a place named Pautauk, he suddenly materialized to give birth to Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) child.
Later, in search of a piece of the Quartermaine money, he traveled to Port Charles. Austin is actually the grandson of Edward Quartermaine; he is the son of Jimmy Lee Holt and Charity Gatlin.
For a very long period, the character wasn’t given much of a place on General Hospital. Fans urged Austin to go and Franco Baldwin to return after a very embarrassing romance with Maxie. He and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) had some spark, but their relationship never developed. And, of course, Britt passed away.
Austin may finally get a good storyline and an even better romance with Ava Jerome (Maura West).
Austin Gatlin-Holt And Have A Secret On General Hospital
Ava Jerome looked like she had finally found her Prince Charming. For a while, she and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) were the perfect couple. Until he slept with his son’s girlfriend, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
Things got quite out of hand after that, and Ava ended up hitting her husband over the head and presumably killing him. Austin just happened to walk in and help her hide the “body”.
Nikolas’ body later vanished, proving that he is not quite dead. Only Autin’s spooky cousin Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey), who is keeping the Cassadine Prince on life support, is aware of his whereabouts. He’s also threatening to call the police on Ava if she doesn’t comply with his demands. Mason is employed by an enigmatical figure who wants Ava to learn more about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
A spark between Austin And Ava Jerome On General Hospital
Austin and Ava are in trouble together. They have been secretly scheming about this for quite some time.
Austin knows who Mason is working for and is afraid for his newfound friend. He is trying to convince Ava to do what Mason wants, and he seems very afraid of this mystery boss. Dr. Gatlin-Holt wants to protect her.
The two are becoming close and, the longer this goes on, the closer they will get. Romance is sure to follow. GH loves a good dangerous love story, and Austin and Ava have the makings of a great one.
What happens When Nikolas Comes Back?
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is traveling with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) as she sets out to find her son. They will eventually locate him. Nikolas will undoubtedly return, though no one is sure who will play him.
Especially after learning that Ava has moved on with another man, Nikolas will desperately want Ava back. The Cassadine Prince will do whatever it takes to achieve his goals.
Ava has always been very drawn to Nikolas but, sleeping with his son’s girlfriend and getting her pregnant might be too much for even Ava to forgive. She may be better off with Dr. Holt. That is until we find out who his family really is and what they are up to.
