Spoilers for General Hospital: Ava Jerome (Maura West) was abducted by Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey). Mason was instructed by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) to murder her.
Mason is going to take Ava to a cliff from the disgusting Pawtuck basement. Will he force her to jump from the precipice and perish?
Ava is aware that Mason enjoys dressing like a ladies’ man, so she’ll probably try to talk her way out of it. That will be obvious to Mason, who will interpret it as an affront to his intelligence.
Not to mention, Mason knows that his cousin, Austin Gatlin (Roger Howarth), had a fling with Ava. He is not going to be so receptive to her feminine tricks.
The race is on to save Ava as Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) have enlisted Damian Spinelli (Bradford William Anderson) to help them find Ava.
The Lollipop Gives it Away
Mason’s signature grape lollipops reveal him, and the three of them discover out who kidnapped Ava. They must find out where they are.
In an attempt to play the Corinthos card, Ava will assure Mason that if she returns home safely, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) won’t hurt him.
Mason is probably going to call her bluff and not believe her. Naturally, Sonny will find out via Ava, and he will take offense. We all know that Sonny is a straight shooter, and Ava is the mother of his child.
Cyrus may change his mind and call Mason and tell him not to kill Ava. He may realize Ava is good leverage against S onny and wants to keep her alive as a bargaining chip.
Mason may not be on board with Cyrus and still plan on disposing of her. Mason is often irrational and doesn’t think things through. However, he is correct that Ava is a threat. She could easily go to the police or get Sonny to kill him if he lets her live.
Will Mason Keep Ava Alive?
Mason is aware that if he gets rid of Ava, there won’t be any witnesses. How will he respond? Will he conclude that Ava is not worth the risk, or will he keep her alive?
Mason might decide to take matters into his own hands and make sure Ava doesn’t pose a threat to him any longer. But Ava has always had her quick thinking and resourcefulness.
If it’s a choice between Ava going off the cliff or Mason, you can bet your money that Ava is not going out like that. Ava is a survivor, and she doesn’t go down easy.
Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) may come to her rescue. He doesn’t want to see Ava harmed and will be very upset if anything happens to her.
Ava will be shocked if Nikolas appears in the “Nik” of time. Mason will probably not be too delighted because Nikolas explicitly told him not to touch Ava.
Still, Josslyn and Dex might be the ones to save her. Do they recall how well they worked together when the hook nearly killed Ava?
That the two of them might be able to locate Ava makes complete sense.
