Spoilers for General Hospital hint that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), the head of Pikeman, still has to get rid of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard). However, Valentin has chosen to take a different strategy following three abortive assassination attempts.

Valentin was able to change Sonny’s bipolar prescription from his pharmacist. Out of Sonny’s four pills, only one is accurate; the other three are just placebos. It’s obvious that Sonny is beginning to spiral out of control.

Valentin Cassadine Hopes Sonny Corinthos Destroys Himself!

Valentin hopes that Sonny will act so recklessly that he openly incriminates himself and goes to prison for the rest of his life. It’s clear that Valentin isn’t the better man he has been claiming to be over the last few years.

He’s well aware that those close to Sonny could be hurt if Sonny’s behavior becomes too erratic. It’s likely why he’s tried to steer Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) out of Sonny’s orbit. But he will likely take a much more direct approach when it comes to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Agent Cates Wants Jason Morgan As Bait!

Jason was recently revealed to be an informant with the FBI. That means Pikeman, and by extension Valentin, is aware that Jason had been infiltrating Pikeman for the last couple years.

Valentin won’t be able to let Jason live because he most likely knows too much. To that end, Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) wants Jason to act as bait so that they can finally take Pikeman down.

But even though he’s got an assignment, Jason doesn’t have a death wish and Valentin is well aware of that fact.

Valentin Cassadine Kidnaps Jason Morgan’s Sons!

Valentin is aware that luring Jason to a distant area is the ideal way to murder him, but Jason is too cunning to fall for the trap. Thus, he won’t offer Jason an option.

Valentin can make sure Jason shows up by robbing Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzym) and Jake Webber (Hudson West).

Valentin will not hesitate to hurt boys even though he doesn’t want to. All of this should culminate in Jason and Valentin’s titanic battle!
