General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer’s Heartbroken Loved Ones Say Goodbye

Have your tissues at the ready.

On the Wednesday, February 7 episode of General Hospital, spoilers feature heartbreak and heartache as the town says goodbye to Spencer Cassadine. You won’t want to miss this episode.

It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye

It wasn’t that long ago that Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) shared a romantic evening in Paris, their whole lives ahead of them. In a split second, everything changed thanks to Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). As a result of her revenge, the Cassadine heir is presumed dead, according to French authorities.

And now it’s time for his friends and family to find the strength to say goodbye. What remains to be seen is whether or not the service will be a drama-free affair…or a Port Charles version of Festivus (from Seinfeld) and the airing of grievances.

Potential for Drama

One reason Spencer’s service may not be a drama-free affair is because a surprise mourner appears for Esme. Did Heather (Alley Mills) receive special permission to briefly leave Pentonville so she can properly remember/honor her daughter? Or did she make a calculated, and unauthorized, escape? Or is the surprise mourner someone else?

Meanwhile, other sources of drama simmer around Port Charles, including a conflicted Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). Could it be about his dad who seems to be a continued target for some mysterious entity? Is it about Nikolas (Adam Huss), the man he just arrested and Spencer’s father? Or something completely unrelated? Whatever it is, Dante will handle it. He always does.

Realizations and Reconciliations

Even though Finn (Michael Easton) no longer has to worry about that bogus malpractice lawsuit, he still has a lot to worry about. When the doctor turns his attention back to his ailing father, he makes a realization. Will he feel the need to make the most of his time with Gregory (Gregory Harrison)? How serious is this realization?

Finally, Michael (Chad Duell) has been in the doghouse with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) ever since she found out he kept Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) betrayal from her. Well, look for the ice to thaw a tiny bit as Willow and Michael take a step towards reconciliation.
