General Hospital spoilers suggest that finally, Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) may get the help she needs. Will she finally get out from under the thumb of Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs)?

Trying to Break Free

Gladys Corbin is in increasing need. She has been losing a lot of money at Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) poker tables at the Savoy since she enjoys gambling. She owes Selina money, but she lacks the resources to settle the debt.

She is able to pay Selina with Sasha’s money because she is Sasha’s guardian. Since Sasha suffered a mental breakdown, she has served as Sasha’s guardian.

After losing both her husband and kid, Sasha was experiencing extreme grief. She struggled with substance problems as well. Glady was recognized as her guardian as a result.

When Sasha began to feel better and decided to explore becoming independent from Gladys, it made Gladys quite nervous. How could she hope to pay her bills if Sasha freed herself from the guardianship?

Sasha had to get a psychiatric evaluation to prove she could be independent. Luckily for Gladys, the psychiatrist Sasha went to was her gambling partner, Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder).

He started to drug Sasha to keep her unstable. She ended up suffering from hallucinations and being committed to Ferncliff Hospital for the Criminally Insane after trying to stab Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).

Finally Breaking Free?

No one could see Sasha, and the nurses failed to notice Dr. Montague’s behavior either. He never stopped dosing Sasha. She was beginning to look awful.

Gladys finally started to worry about her son-in-law. She asked Dr. Montague to halt and let Sasha leave, and he said that he would only do so if she paid. Gladys had to grovel to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) for more money.

It seems that Gladys may have exhausted Sasha’s funds. Gladys tried to sell Sasha’s stock in Deception Cosmetics to make more cash, but there is a freeze on the sales of that stock because of litigation. Gladys seems out of financial options. Will this make her care now about Sasha?

Just to get Sasha out, Cody had himself committed to Ferncliff. He managed to assault Montague, take his clothing, and elude capture with Sasha. He is attempting to assist her in taking control of her life as she goes through detox right now.

Finally realizing the situation, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is going to target Gladys. Does this imply that Sasha will now be safeguarded? Will she be able to find health, happiness, and hope?
