General Hospital Recap: Tracy Revealed Her Game Plan To Brook Lynn

Tracy Quartermaine is causing trouble.

The General Hospital recap for August 25, 2023, features Brook Lynn demanding answers from Tracy, but she wasn’t happy about what she heard.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

In this episode, Brook Lynn gave Tracy some food for thought after her Backgammon game with Finn. Gregory confessed the truth to Elizabeth while Kristina made some confessions to Willow. Molly and Alexis also met up for dinner with the surrogate. Nina and Sonny discussed wedding plans and finally, Cody made his case to Sam. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.

A Game of Wits

Finn (Michael Easton) and Tracy (Jane Elliot) sat down for a game of Backgammon in the solarium. Tracy asked a few questions about Gregory but Finn didn’t give anything away. He knew Gregory’s (Gregory Harrison) diagnosis wasn’t his secret to tell. By the end of the conversation, Tracy had beaten Finn at Backgammon once again.

When Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) learned about the Deception problems, she immediately assumed that Granny Tracy was behind them. She barged in on the Backgammon game and demanded answers. Finn left, and Tracy had some explaining to do. She told BLQ that Lucy (Lynn Herring) stole the Deceptor designs from the company she’s been working with.

Brook Lynn was shocked to hear that Tracy was hoping Deception would be put out of business. Tracy had some things to think about when Brook Lynn asked her why she wanted to destroy people’s lives.

As for Gregory, he decided he needed to tell Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) about his condition so she could be a source of support and comfort for Finn. She was shocked, of course, but also sympathetic. Gregory admitted that he decided to tell Liz the truth before his son, Chase.

Mothers And Daughters

Molly (Brooke Anne Smith) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) met with potential surrogate Andrea at the Metro Court pool, not knowing Kristina (Kate Mansi) was there and spotted them. When Alexis saw Kristina, she gave her a sympathetic look, so Kristina made a hasty exit but did not look happy. As Alexis got to know this seemingly perfect surrogate, she pointed out that there would be an emotional aspect of this for everyone. This wasn’t just a legal contract.

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) stopped by GH to have a chat with Elizabeth about going back to work. She felt like her old self again and couldn’t wait to jump back into life. Elizabeth thought it was too soon, but Willow was ready to see if Terry (Cassandra James) gave her the go-ahead.

Oddly enough, Kristina was the next person Willow ran into. Kristina told her all about the LGBTQ center and the fact that she felt left out of Molly’s life. She even told Willow all about Molly’s fertility and surrogate issues.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) met up in her office, where Sonny presented her with a gorgeous diamond necklace. Nina just wanted to know if it was an apology for keeping all these secrets from her. She then brought up his meeting with Ava (Maura West) the other day and tried to find out what was going on. Sonny insisted that he still couldn’t tell her. Some things he does are just better left unsaid. After all, he is a mobster.

As they had a private dinner, Sonny changed the subject to their wedding. Nina wanted a winter wedding because she wanted to make sure Willow would be medically cleared as part of the wedding.

Cody And Sam Are All In For Sasha

Cody (Josh Kelly) begged Sam (Kelly Monaco) to help him get committed to Ferncliff. He planned to give her power of attorney and wanted her to be the one to commit him. Sam refused because she felt it would only make Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) worse, and she was already dangerous and delusional. Cody insisted she wasn’t and insisted that Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) was somehow drugging her. Sam thought that Cody would just traumatize her more, no matter Cody’s reasons for being there.

Sam finally decided to hear Cody out, and he made the case for why he thought Sasha was being sabotaged. Just as she was ready to end her guardianship, things started to go wrong for her. Sam had to admit that he had a point and finally agreed to help him.
