The two-part finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 9 has finally arrived, and Jorgeous is vocalizing how every queen feels at this point: “We’ve all gotten really close with each other, but it’s still a competition at the end of the day, and I want to win this crown as much as the next bitch — probably even more.”
Ahead of the finale, Roxxxy Andrews has raised the most money ($37,500) for her charity (Miracle of Love), followed by Angeria Paris VanMicheals ($30,000 for the National Black Justice Coalition) and Gottmik ($22,500 for Trans Lifeline). Collectively, the queens have netted over $100,000 for the organizations of their choice, so to quote Vanessa Vanjie, they’re “basically like Mother Theresa in this bitch.”
TVLine’s exclusive sneak peek of Friday’s episode finds the queens getting a little boost, courtesy of a fuzzy pink box, which promises an extra $1,500 to each of their charities — assuming they can complete the tasks written on the cards inside.
And the surprises continue when RuPaul sashays into the Werk Room to explain the season’s final mini challenge: “All season long, you’ve been shaking what your drag mama gave you to raise money for your charities, and that makes you all champions,” he tells the queens. “And every step of the way, our amazing crew has worked tirelessly to help you shine. Now, it’s your turn to make them sparkle. … Using the magic of quick drag, you need to transform a hard-working crew member into a RuGirl.”
