Colorado Farmer Finds Love On The Dating Show ‘Farmer Wants A Wife’

One Colorado farmer had a big decision to make after joining the dating show “Farmer Wants a Wife.”

Brandon Rogers, a potato and barley farmer from Center, Colorado, was looking for someone to share his life with in his one-stop town – and he might’ve found it in episode 13 which premiered on Thursday.

Through the 12 episodes, four farmers brought back a group of girls to their farms, showing them their farming lifestyle, going on dates and meeting the families. But for the finale, each farmer could only end up with one.

If you haven’t watched the series and plan on watching it, you’ve been warned, this article is chock-full of spoilers.

Colorado farmer chooses a city girl

The first farmer to make their decision was Rogers.

Rogers was between Emerson, a college counselor from Elkhart, Iowa, and Grace, a communications associate in Caledonia, Wisconsin.

Before the final decision, Rogers met with his father, Keith, who urged him to follow his heart and choose, “somebody that you want to be best friends with.”

Just before he made his decision, it was seemingly a toss-up.

Rogers said that Emerson is from a small town and is willing to move. Meanwhile, Grace is attached to her family in Wisconsin, but the pair has a deep connection.

Ultimately, Rogers decided on Grace, stating that she “really brought a sense of peace to the farm”. He said he didn’t have as strong of a connection with Emerson.

While there wasn’t a proposal, there were certainly tears, at least from Rogers.

The pair is willing to try out “real life” and get to know each other better, although Rogers is still concerned about Grace’s love for the city, as he states that they are in the middle of nowhere.

While the finale didn’t show where the duo ended up, there is a reunion episode that airs on FOX on May 16.
