Cameron Mathison, who plays Drew on General Hospital, will take on new roles in the upcoming months. The actor has signed a deal with Great American Family to star in a series of movies and shows.

Deadline broke the news that the GH and ex-All My Children star will appear in programs across Great American Media’s portfolio of platforms, including Great American Faith & Living and Great American Family, as well as its streaming service Great American Pure Flix.

Triple Threat

The fan favorite has already appeared in GAC films A Merry Christmas Wish and A Kindhearted Christmas. Mathison added hosting credits to his impressive resume after being an on-air correspondent at Hallmark’s Home & Family, Good Morning America, and Entertainment Tonight. He competed in Season 5 of Dancing With the Stars, narrowly missing the semi-finals.

Mathison debuted on ABC Daytime as AMC’s Ryan 25 years ago. He remained with the show until its finale in 2010. Mathison’s other credits include appearing on Hope & Faith, the film 54, and the Hallmark mysteries as the character Mike alongside Days of our Lives star Allison Sweeney (ex-Sami) in Murder, She Baked: A Chocolate Chip Cookie Mystery.
