Blue Bloods Actress Vanessa Ray, Pays Tribute To ‘Treat Williams’ In An Emotional Way


According to CNN, Treat Williams d1ed in a motorcycle accident near his home in Vermont. The 71-year-old actor appeared in dozens of films and television shows, including Hair, The Late Show, Chicago Fire, Everwood, and Chesapeake Shores.

On the CBS drama Blue Bloods, the Emmy nominee also played Lenny Ross, Frank Reagan’s (Tom Selleck) former partner and longtime friend.

Vanessa Ray, who plays Eddie Janko-Reagan on Blue Bloods, paid tribute to Treat on Instagram with a touching story.

She captioned a photo of the news, “This is heartbreaking.” When I first worked with Treat on @bluebloods_cbs at a family dinner, he discovered I w as in Hair on Broadway. I introduced myself as the ‘Frank Mills’ girl. He began to sing. He knew every single word. No, I did not. What a brilliant, kind, and lovely artist. “Rest now, Berger.”

Treat has shared several photos from the set on Twitter over the years, including this one from 2021, which shows him arm-in-arm with Tom Selleck. “Thanks Tom Selleck and #Bluebloods, always a pleasure,” Treat wrote. “Two seasoned professionals.”

He shared a similar photo in 2015, following his first appearance on the CBS drama. Treat tweeted at the time, “Great fun to work with Tom Selleck.” What a gentleman.”
