Big Brother Viewers Are Left Fuming As ‘Huge Fail’ Completely Derails The Season 26 Premiere: ‘Why Is There No Explanation?’

Big Brother fans were left infuriated after a scheduling error caused the Price is Right at Night to significantly delay the season 26 premiere of the hit CBS reality show.

Viewers on pacific time had expected to be greeted with the first episode of the two-part launch when they tuned in at 9pm, but instead presenter Drew Carey was still hosting the game show.

According to reports, the holdback was due to the overrunning of coverage from the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

Many furiously reported that they had been forced to wait over 20 minutes before Big Brother got underway – and suffice to say they didn’t hold back as they flooded social media in uproar, begging for the network to take action.

On X, one said: ‘Why is my CBS showing the Price is Right???’

Another fumed: ‘I’m about to start tweakinggg. Paramount plus you had one job to start Big Brother at 9 and here we are 22 minutes later with the Price is Right STILL on…I’m about to go to bed if it doesn’t start in 8 minutes.’

A third raged: ‘Ummm @CBSBigBrother why is Price is Right playing in my #BB26 time slow for Pacific time? For all this I pay for cable and Paramount, I should get live access at least on the app.’

A fourth added: ‘The west coast waiting to watch the Big Brother premiere but The Price is Right is STILL on. Get it together @CBS.’

‘Not me trying to watch Big Brother and the Price is Right still being on…’ a fifth noticed.

A sixth vented: ‘Hey @CBS what the hell is going on? I thought Big Brother 26 premieres tonight at 9pm pacific time so why are you broadcasting The Price is Right at Night? I’m HOT.’

Big Brother season 26 kicked off with just eight out of the 16 housemates entering the bunker.

The first arrivals included sales executive Tucker Des Lauriers, real estate agent Angela Murray, mattress sales rep Kimo Apaka, nonprofit director Chelsie Baham, physical therapist Cam Sullivan-Brown, event bartender Rubina Bernabe, video store clerk Joseph Rodriguez, and construction project manager Makensy Manbeck.

The remaining eight will enter the compound on Thursday night.

CBS previously revealed the cast will have the power to vote in a 17th houseguest for the first time.

In Wednesday’s episode, the group was presented with the first contender for the additional housemate, Ainsley, but they swiftly denied her entry.

However, in the show’s first twist, Ainsley turned out to be an AI bot that has control of the entire game.

It was then revealed that the four housemates who voted ‘yes’ to Ainsley joining the group would be able to compete to upgrade their game, while the others risked their game being downgraded.

While it was learned that Makensy had won the upgrade and Chelsie had lost, viewers will have to stay tuned for Thursday’s episode where it will be revealed how their fates will effect their journey in the house.
