Big Brother Host Julie Chen Moonves Reacts To Tucker’s ‘Ballsy’ Gameplay

Each week, Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves will weigh in on the latest events inside the house. This week, she reacts to Tucker and Cedric’s feud, Quinn’s multiple alliances, and why viewers gave Tucker what he wanted with America’s Veto.

That veto meeting started out dramatic and just kept getting wilder! What moment surprised you the most?

JULIE CHEN MOONVES: When Tucker openly declared war on Cedric’s game, that was so ballsy. Can I say that? Well I just did! Expect the unexpected. What can I tell you, Chenbot hails from Queens, #718 and I’m so old school, I was there when it was still 212!

Quinn has multiple alliances, which has definitely backfired on players in the past, but it saved him this week. How much longer do you think he can keep all these alliance plates spinning?

I think he can keep it going at least another week while he has the Deep Fake HOH! That’s for sure! Hah! But beyond that, I think he can maintain it as long as he doesn’t win comps. He’s likable to his housemates and doesn’t appear to be a threat. As long as he can keep that vibe going, he’s good.

Makensy used America’s Veto, putting the replacement nominee in America’s hands. Why do you think viewers voted to put Quinn on the block? He’s good TV, so why risk sending him home?

Watch season 1 of BB and you will know why. We Americans take it all so personally and really get INVESTED! We don’t think past the initial emotion of it all. That said, I also think a big part of it is that America is probably LOVING Tucker, and whatever Tucker wants, America wants. For now.

Speaking of Tucker, he seems to have an even bigger target on his back than Quinn right now, after winning twice in the A.I. Arena and clashing so publicly with Cedric. What do you think he should do this week to start mending fences?

He should somehow find a foolproof way to make a solid final 2 with Quinn and together, run it to the end. Then they can see who really has what it takes to bring home the gold!
