Big Brother 26: Kenney Kelly Wins The Week 2 Power Of Veto Battle; Chelsie Baham Becomes The HOH

Kenney Kelley won the Big Brother 26 week 2 Power of Veto battle. Chelsie Baham, the Big Brother 26 Week 2 Head of Household (HOH), nominated Kenney, Angela Murray, and Lisa Weintraub. Chelsie’s real goal for eviction is Lisa. Chelsie had pondered using all pawns to try to get Lisa, whom she erroneously believes has power, out of the house. Kenney and Cam Sullivan-Brown both offered to be pawns, but Chelsie changed her mind and chose Lisa as one of the original nominees.

The Big Brother 26 live feeds announced that Kenney had won the Power of Veto. He competed against HOH Chelsie, his fellow nominees Angela and Lisa, and Brooklyn Rivera and Joseph Rodriguez, who were chosen at random. Kenney told Leah Peters that he would use the Power of Veto to save himself, which was encouraging because he has considered quitting the game at various points, including when he was nominated last week against ally Matt Hardeman and when he missed his daughter’s birthday because he was in the house.

Lisa’s fate would have been sealed in a regular season of Big Brother if she hadn’t won the Power of Veto, but she still has a chance to rescue herself on eviction night in the BB A.I. Arena challenge. It would be fascinating to watch if Chelsie returns to her plan of nominating a pawn against Angela and Lisa, or if she chooses a different target. Nominating a strong player like Cam as a pawn is an excellent idea since they could win the A.I. Arena competition, putting Lisa and Angela on the chopping board.

It’s also likely that if Angela is still on the chopping block before the vote, the house will turn against her, especially following her outburst last week. Angela’s paranoia about her alliance The Collective turning against her, combined with her fiery speech against first evictee Matt, whom she made cry by calling him “Crazy Eyes” and saying that his mother would see that he was “a straight-up disrespectful brat,” made her fellow houseguests reconsider working with her. It will be fascinating to see what occurs over the following week because things move swiftly in the Big Brother house.

Big Brother 26 has made backdooring houseguests impossible because they will always have the opportunity to save themselves in the BB A.I. Arena, so Chelsie couldn’t have backdoored Lisa with pawns. This makes the HOH’s job much more difficult because the live eviction is uncertain. However, it is incredibly thrilling for viewers, particularly live feeders, because the evictions are not predetermined before the live program. Now that Kenney has used the Power of Veto to rescue himself, Chelsie must be very careful about her replacement nominee to ensure that things go her way this week.
