Home And Away’s Rose Delaney To dump Mali Hudson

She accuses her boyfriend of treating her like the enemy.

Home and Away’s Rose Delaney ends her relationship with Mali Hudson on UK screens next week.

Rose realises that she can’t forgive Mali after he went behind her back to take revenge against the dangerous Allen family.

Mali has been caught up in his older brother Iluka’s dispute with the Allens over $8,000 in stolen money.

This week’s episodes see Mali arrange a high-risk fight with the Allens, wanting to make them pay for kidnapping Iluka and leaving him for dead after a brutal attack.

Mali is assisted by two River Boys – Rory Templeton and David ‘Dingo’ Lewis – as he fights with Gordie Allen. Rose and her police colleagues soon break up the brawl before it can get out of hand.

In follow-on scenes next week, Rose shares the news that the Allens have been charged with attempted murder and false imprisonment for the way they treated Iluka.

She then confides in her friend Bree Cameron on more personal matters, admitting that she didn’t recognise the version of Mali she saw when he was fighting with Gordie.

Iluka ends up discharging himself from the hospital and doing a disappearing act, feeling ashamed of the trouble that he has caused.

Rose offers to help with the search, but Mali shuns her efforts and vows to go it alone. He’s relieved when he finds Iluka asleep in the dunes on the beach.

Rose soon catches up with Iluka and asks him to give her a statement over recent events.

Iluka challenges Rose and accuses her of favouritism, questioning why she hasn’t arrested Mali for his part in continuing the violent feud.

Iluka’s words hit home for Rose, who realises that she has been viewing situations with double standards when it comes to Mali.

This realisation – coupled with Mali’s ongoing cold attitude – ultimately pushes Rose to breaking point. She warns Mali that she can’t stay in a relationship with someone who treats her like the enemy, so they’re over. How will Mali respond?

Home and Away airs these scenes on Monday, August 12 on Channel 5.
