RuPaul’s Drag Race UK legends Cheryl and Le Fil will be returning to the franchise for an upcoming spin-off.
As per TVLine, the pair, who competed on the first and fourth seasons of the reality show, will appear in the second season of Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs the World, with the duo being joined by another seven queens.
There will be three local queens in the series, with Lemon, Tynomi Banks (both Canada’s Drag Race season 1) and Miss Fiercalicious (Canada’s Drag Race season 3) all signed up; there is also one representative from France in the shape of La Kahena, who appeared on the first season.
There are also three candidates from the US, with Alexis Mateo, Kennedy Davenport and Eureka O’Hara all appearing after first making their name in the third, sixth and tenth seasons respectively.
Brooke Lynn Hytes, Brad Goreski and Traci Melchor will all return to judge the contestants on the series, which is due to premiere on July 19.
Cheryl, who was previously known as Cheryl Hole during their appearances, recently addressed the change of name with a comment on X/Twitter, writing: “All will be revealed diva” in response to an inquisitive fan.
The post included Cheryl’s VT for the series, in which she said: “Here we go again, chapter three- ding ding ding… The UK has failed this diva so thank god I got a passport because here I am in Canada.

“I’m here to represent the past, present and future of British drag… Cheryl is everything quintessentially British – a dry sense of humour, a silly tit in a wig and a glamorous fashionista. See me down Bond Street, yes!
“People may underestimate me in these competitions because I haven’t won a challenge – ever- but it’s my moment. I’ve trained for years for this. These queens will think they’re the frontrunners then bam bam – Chezzy’s coming through swimming.”
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK airs on BBC Three in the UK and streams on WOW Presents Plus in the US.
