General Hospital Recap: Chase Offered BLQ His Heart, Kristina Offered Molly Her Body

Harrison Chase led with his heart, and so did Kristina.

The General Hospital recap for Friday, December 1, 2023, features Chase getting down on one knee and Kristina showing up for Molly in a huge way.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Also in this episode, Carly impressed Mr. Brenner and made a new friend, Sonny made an enemy, and Ava made a very bad decision. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.

Undying Love And Support

Molly (Kristen Vaganos) was welcomed into Kristina’s (Kate Mansi) apartment for the very first time. Kristina grabbed some wine and listened to her sister’s woes. Molly felt guilty for going behind TJ’s (Tajh Bellow) back and meeting with the surrogacy agent. However, she also opened up about her reasons. The bottom line was, she wants a baby and does not want to waste time waiting.

Kristina heard that and quickly offered up herself. She proposed she be the one to carry her sister’s baby! Mi uterus es su uterus. Molly was floored.

At the same time, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) griped to her mom (Lois, Rena Sofer) about Gloria (Ellen Travolta) scaring off Chase (Josh Swickard) with marriage talk. Luckily, that didn’t happen and Chase turned up in the kitchen. Of course, Lois couldn’t help but drop some marriage talk too…oops.

Once alone, Chase joked with BLQ about how dramatic she was being. She may be scared of marriage talk but he wasn’t. Not even a little bit. So much so, that he got down on one knee and proposed!

General Hospital Recap: Oh, The Drama!

Sonny (Maurice Benard) got to Pozzulo and had a long talk with Dex (Evan Hofer). His henchman was stunned to hear Austin was dead and admitted he did, indeed, rough him up when Ava was missing.

The chatter was cut short by a visit from Pikeman’s team. They had a huge deal for Sonny. They needed his help bringing in more “product” and offered up Sonny double the usual bribe. It was a no-go, though. Sonny was not interested and turned him away.

Dex did not like that and commented that Sonny was making a mistake. These people were well-connected and could sink Sonny if he didn’t play the game. Sonny reminded Dex he was connected and tough too. Very much so.

Meanwhile, Nina (Cynthia Watros) rushed to Wyndemere and found Ava (Maura West) in quite a state. Ava showed her the letter and broke down and told Nina EVERYTHING. All of it, including thinking she killed Nik, hiding the body, Mason’s blackmail, and later finding out Austin was in on all of it. She also informed Nina this was all Cyrus’s (Jeff Kober) doing. Nina was shocked!

Oh, but that wasn’t the worst of it. Ava replayed the last time she saw Austin. They had it out at the gallery and she sent him away. Unfortunately, the lack of cameras at the back door made her a prime suspect.

Once alone, Ava threw the letter and its contents into the fire. As for Nina, she ran to Sonny to confront him. How could he not tell her Cyrus was still a threat?!

Good People, Bad People

Meanwhile, at Kelly’s, Carly impressed a strange newcomer, Mr. Brennon, with her cheery demeanor and good burger. She further made an impression on him by being kind to a homeless man outside. Not only did she invite the fella into the diner (which he declined) but she got him food and a hot coffee. How sweet. Before leaving, Brennon gave Carly some cash for the man.

Brennon paid his bill and went to leave. But, before he did, his henchman waltzed in and told him all about Sonny turning down the deal. Uh-oh!

Finn (Michael Easton) treated Liz (Rebecca Herbst) to dinner at Cafe Cherie as a calm-before-the-storm treat. He was worried about the lawsuit. He was well aware he was on the losing end and even his own testimony could sink him. Liz did her best to give Finn a pep talk but he wasn’t feeling very peppy.
