Recently, as Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was visiting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in the hospital, he ran into her.

Renault was doing everything in his power to show that he was a “changed man,” but Carly made it clear that she was not interested in whatever Cyrus was peddling.

Could this scenario be the first in a new plot that Carly and the liberated felon embark on?

Cyrus Renault Is Jealous Of Sonny Corinthos

GH spoilers don’t offer much in terms of Cyrus’s true intentions. One thing is clear, he’s quite jealous of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

One thing in particular is how the community views the mob boss. While he’s feared, he’s also well-respected, and it does hurt Cyrus that Sonny has a very close relationship with his sister, Laura Collins (Genie Francis).

Corinthos also happens to be very popular with the ladies, an affection that Cyrus has never been able to garner with the females in Port Charles. As Renault aims to be more like Sonny, could Carly become his new obsession?

Could Carly Spencer Be In Danger?

There’s a good chance that Cyrus could become fixated with Carly. Not that he has a fighting chance at a romance with her. Even if she didn’t have Drew as a boyfriend, Renault is far from her type, even on a good day.

Cyrus does appear to be somewhat crazy, though. Even though Carly shows no indications of interest, he could still feel an attraction between them.

His infatuation can resemble that of Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), to the point where he considers kidnapping her to remove her from her “dangerous” life as Sonny’s ex-wife.

Although Carly is a tough, unflappable lady, she is now vulnerable because Drew is incarcerated. Could she therefore be in danger?
