According to General Hospital teasers, Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) has been seriously let down by the PCPD. Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) have both tortured her.
They never discovered it, and now that they have, they are unsure of how to demonstrate it. Sasha departs and returns to Ferncliff. Is her life in risk right now?
Victim of Greed
Gladys Corbin suffers from a severe gambling addiction. She has been playing poker at Lydia Look’s (Selina Wu’s) tables for months, but she has lost a lot of money. She owes Selina money but lacks the resources to do so.
Gladys was Sasha’s guardian since, following the deaths of her son and her husband, Sasha did experience some instability and problems with her mental health. Gladys had authority over Sasha’s finances as a result of her guardianship. She was successful in taking funds from her accounts to pay Selina.
When Sasha began to feel better, she sought to dissolve the guardianship. This was a worry to Gladys, who needed to keep access to Sasha’s funds.
The court appointed a doctor to evaluate Sasha to see if she was ready for guardianship dissolution. It turns out that the person they appointed was none other than Dr. Damon Montague, a gambling partner of Gladys.
Terrible Torture
Montague gave Sasha a prescription that interfered with the antidepressants she was taking. She ended up with hallucinations. While having one of these hallucinations, she stabbed Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). Thie resulted in her being sent to Ferncliff, which is an institution for the criminally insane.
Here, Montague has been drugging her, while reporting that she is getting drugs herself. It also appears that he was getting ready to kill her, because he had a strong dose on him the last time he was headed for her room.
Cody busted Sasha out by beating up Montague, tying him up, and stealing his clothes. They got some help from Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) but have not been able to prove what Gladys and Montague were up to.
Instead of coming to the PCPD to confess and to testify against Montague, Gladys called the PCPD and got Sasha arrested. She is headed back to Ferncliff, and Dante and company just stood there shell shocked.
Someone who can outwit Gladys and Dr. Montague is needed on the force. They shouldn’t be permitted to escape punishment for their misdeeds.
Who do you anticipate helping Sasha? Will Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), who recently learned about Gladys’ activities, take any action? Will he be able to save Sasha in time? Evidently, the PCPD is unable to determine how to keep her secure.
