Information and spoilers for General Hospital imply that Steve Burton might have given away his potential return as Jason Morgan in a recent Instagram story. He committed to a one-year deal with Days of Our Lives as Harris Michaels, but more than half of that time has passed and Jason has never been shown to be dead.
Wally Kurth Dropped A Hint On A Podcast Interview
In a recent podcast conversation with his co-star Steve, who is presently playing Harris Michaels on DOOL, Wally Kurth hinted at something.
Fans of both programs are familiar with Wally’s dual roles as Justin Kiriakis on DOOL and Ned Quartermaine/Eddie Maine on GH. Wally hinted that Steve would return to General Hospital soon, but he was quite cryptic and left plenty to the imagination.
Since that podcast, there have been numerous reports that Steve will join GH as Jason, but it’s important to keep in mind that GH and DOOL have distinct taping dates.
Steve signed a one year contract with DOOL as Harris Michaels, but already six months of that have elapsed, while GH’s schedule is around six weeks ahead.
Steve Burton Could Have Danced Around A Confirmation On Instagram
In a recent Instagram post, Steve made reference to change and changes while talking about the seasons and weather, which may have been seen as a sign that he is returning to General Hospital as Jason.
Even though they probably caught Wally’s podcast hint as well, Jason fans are once again analyzing every word he says and reading in that changes ahead pertain to him returning to GH as Jason.
That doesn’t negate the fact that Port Charles has damsels in need of help and circumstances that only Jason could resolve, though.
Fans are mixed on the DOOL Harris-Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) pairing, to GH fans, they’re just not Jason and Carly! Harris broke Ava out of a mental health facility and the two went on the run trying to exonerate her of another crime.
Jason Morgan Could Fix So Many Things
If only Jason returned alive, he could fix so many things gone wrong in Port Charles-he could save Sasha Gilmore, (Sofia Mattsson) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
He may have killed the Hook before Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) had an opportunity to kill anyone, preventing Britt’s death by the Hook.
The best part is that he could have arrived far sooner in Greenland than Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).
Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) protection would prevent Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) frame-up, which would have never occurred.
Jason Morgan might be discovered by the time the February sweeps get underway in the pointless quest for playing dead Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss)!
