Unfortunately, Blue Bloods is among the many broadcast series which is affected by both the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Like most scripted series, production on Blue Bloods is currently on pause as production cannot begin until after the strikes are resolved. This is because writers cannot work on new scripts during the strike, nor can actors return to work to film content.

Because of the strikes, production on season 14 has not yet been able to begin which is going to result in a shortened season of the show as well as a delayed return for the show.

At this time, CBS has yet to announce a release date for Blue Bloods season 14; however, we do know the show’s next season will not be coming in 2023.
