GH Spoilers: Weekly Spoilers – Valentin Continues Lying To Anna; Dante Questions Why Valentin Lied To Anna; Gladys Grows A Backbone But It’ll Cost Her

The new week is about to begin, and according to General Hospital Spoilers, there will be a lot of action.

As Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) continues her investigation into Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to learn what he is hiding and why he is lying to her, things are about to become tense.

And it appears that the writers will make Gladys Corbin (Bonnir Burroughs) stand up to the good doctor in an effort to rehabilitate her, but she will pay a price for finally developing a backbone.

Is he protecting Anna?

There are so many signs that Valentin is involved and has closer ties to Pikeman than he is letting on, especially as the mystery surrounding who is targeting Anna grows more complicated.

Although it’s conceivable that he’s collaborating with them on some evil plan, “General Hospital” Spoilers believe it’s more probable that he’s trying to keep Anna safe without alerting her.

It will appear suspicious, but he might think that by withholding any knowledge he has from her, he is defending her.

What’s worse is he’s had every opportunity to tell Anna what’s going on, and it’s going to be fun seeing how badly this blows up in his face.

It’s not going to help him that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) also knows he’s lying to Anna, and he’s going to work with her to figure out why Valentin’s lying and how it fits in.

The sad part is it may be too late for him to come clean. We think he’s planted more than some trust issues in Anna’s mind.

Gladys is horrified

It’s taken her long enough, but Gladys is finally going to grow a backbone and realize what’s happening to Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) at her request.

She’ll be horrified at how far Sasha has fallen and demand that Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) stop what he’s doing immediately.

Of course, he’s not going to be willing to do so on a whim and will want to make sure he’s properly compensated so he can disappear and avoid facing justice for what he did.

This seems like an effort at atonement for Gladys, who not only willfully and angrily sought to end the lives of two people in order to maintain her access to wealth, but also, some how, was unaware that Dr. Montague would end Sasha’s life in order to carry out his end of the bargain?

Too little, too late, but perhaps she will deliver. They probably won’t, though, as they seem to enjoy torturing Sasha. It would be good if they once again gave the poor woman a rest.
