Nothing gets “General Hospital” Spoilers more excited about what’s to come than a new week, and we have lots of spoilery delights to share.

We’re getting close to the conclusion of one plotline and into the meat of another, so this week appears to be jam-packed with action.

Playing the hero

Since learning that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) had been spending her money on poker games, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) has been attempting to assist Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), and he will pick up his efforts now that the situation is critical.

He’s been doing everything he can to protect himself from Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) retaliation while also persuading people that Gladys is up to something.

While he’s making headway, “General Hospital” Spoilers are expecting him to fully come clean at some point since it’s the fastest way to save Sasha.

This will be where his and Mac Scorpio (John J. York)’s relationship will be put to the test and go to the next level. At least, that’s our belief that he’ll go to Mac with everything at some point. Hopefully before Selina’s ring is busted and it’s too late for Sasha.

Dr. Montague seeks to destroy Sasha

We can appreciate Cody’s desire to defend himself, but he needs to move quickly because he intends to attempt to free Sasha from Ferncliff. He will only confess once he is discovered.

Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder), in one of the more evil episodes of the show, will continue to gaslight Sasha in an effort to ruin her totally as he mulls over that choice.

Since Gladys is complicit in this and won’t step up until it’s nearly too late, he’ll have all the time he needs to push her over the edge for good.

Time’s ticking, but at least we can be sure Gladys and the good doctor will get theirs in the end.

 Anna protects herself

Because Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) doesn’t like to wait for someone to attack or protect her, she will take the initiative and find out what Pikeman’s background is from Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and others.

She appears to be assuming that they are chasing her, which could indicate that they are hired guns or members of the WSB. To believe that they would go for her when their dealings are or were with Sonny Corinthose (Maurice Benard) seems like a stretch.

It will be intriguing to see how they resolve this and become connected to Anna.
