Executives at General Hospital haven’t addressed Pullos’ replacement, just to be clear. But Scott Smith, the brother of Brooke Anne Smith, announced the news on Facebook, stating that Brooke has been hired to take the place of Pullos, who would no longer be appearing on the show. Days after the collision, she was spotted riding in the backseat of her father’s car as he took her to a local treatment facility.

Plenty of people voiced their opinions about the matter with one writing “I lost my cousin and his stepfather to a drunken driver and almost lost an Aunt for the same reason. Absolutely she should be given a chance. AFTER she takes responsibility for her actions and makes amends to the family she almost destroyed. Period.”

Someone else wrote “Do you realize a man almost lost his life? This is bigger than a soap opera character. We pray for a full recovery for the injured man. Stop trying to use the fans to get her out of trouble. Commit a crime suffer the consequences. That goes for anyone.”
