Curtis Is Shot At Metro Court
The Metro Court pool recently served as the scene of a brutal gunshot event on General Hospital in a heart-pounding scenario. The majority of people were able to avoid getting hurt, however one uninvolved spectator was hit by one of the three gunshots that were fired. Curtis Ashford was the hapless person. There are yet no hints as to who fired the shot or who provided the orders. Additionally, it is yet unknown who the shooting was intended at. Dante did, however, speculate that Sonny or Anna might have been the intended victims.
Unfortunately, Curtis ended up becoming collateral damage on General Hospital. He was immediately rushed to the hospital. But his life is still hanging in the balance. The latest spoilers have teased that in the upcoming episodes Curtis will be fighting for his life and TJ might assist with the surgery. So the situation seems really dire for Curtis at the moment. In the recent episode, the doctors informed that he had been stabilized but is still unconscious. The doctor then went on to give a far more concerning update about Curtis.
Will Curtis’ Passing Mark Donnel Turner’s Exit From General Hospital?
In the intense final moments on the previous episode, the doctor informed Curtis’ family that the bullet is lodged against his spine. Therefore, the surgery to remove it will be extremely complicated on General Hospital. Curtis then gets taken into the ER, and the painfully long wait for the surgery to come through begins. While Curtis’ fate hangs by a thread, we can’t help but wonder if he will survive. Moreover, what could be the reason behind making Curtis the gunshot victim?
Could it be a way of writing Curtis’ character off and opening the door for actor Donnel Turner’s exit from General Hospital? The jury is still out on that! As the makers have been tight-lipped upon what the future holds for Curtis on the soap. However, one ray of hope is that there is absolutely no news on the horizon about Donnel quitting the soap. Thus, chances are that Curtis will survive! But that brings us back to the question! Why make Curtis the victim? Well, it might be a smart way of giving Portia and Curtis a fresh start after all the paternity and clandestine kiss drama!
It seems highly improbable that the creators would kill Curtis with so many unfinished business as he is currently smack in the heart of too many plots.
