The whole personnel at ABC Disney was subject to a widespread Covid-19 vaccination requirement. Ingo requested a religious exception to the requirement, as was his legal right. Ingo’s job was history after ABC Disney rejected his plea in response. The vaccine requirement at ABC Disney ended in November 2022.
At that time, fans wondered if it would mean Ingo could return to work, but he was embroiled in litigation against the company, having filed a lawsuit against them in December 2021 alleging they discriminated against his religious beliefs. Insiders report, Ingo is living his best life with his wife and children in sunny Florida. The actor reportedly fled California on the heels of his termination and subsequent lawsuit. Many of his fans exclaimed, they can’t blame him, and he’s received a lot of support for standing up against mandates — something that many Americans felt was handled poorly during the pandemic. Ingo may now serve as a symbol of patriotism to some of his fans, but that’s not going to pay the bills or revive his acting career. Which begs the question: is this the end of the line for him?
