GH Spoilers Thursday, April 20: Trina The Hero, Carly Refuses To Lose Her Cult, Victor Prepares For His Victory

Nothing is ever simple in Port Charles, and “General Hospital” Spoilers are ready to keep things moving with some fun spoilery goodies.

This is going to be a fun episode with some wins, losses, and outright hostility to maintain the perceived status quo.

There’s a lot to unpack, so let’s get into some spoilers!

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Thursday, April 20: Finding a way

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) may have gone to the well one time too often by returning to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez)’s room, but prior to that she was able to cripple the Haunted Star.

Because of her, they have a chance to be found since Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) may have to have a tow boat come to them or find other transportation.

While Spencer won’t be happy that Trina was captured, it looks like they’ll be held together and he’ll be able to tell her how proud he is of her and that she may have saved them.

It may be a fleeting moment given how Victor will appear victorious when he speaks to Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Thursday, April 20: Victor celebrate a win

While Liesl doesn’t look pleased about it, it appears she’s given into Victor’s demands to protect them from his pathogen.

“General Hospital” Spoilers suspect Liesl will feel she has no other choice, but we think she’ll have another trick up her sleeve.

Since she’s powerless to stop Victor now, she may sabotage his dose to ensure he gets sick. It’d be a fitting end to the climate extremist Victor’s proven to be, but we doubt it’ll end that way for him.

It’s amazing how often the bad guys in comics, shows, or fiction in general are the ones that generally want to control the population through various nefarious means. It’s an age old trope that never gets old.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Thursday, April 20: Carly never changes

With everything put on Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)’s shoulders to dismantle her Cult of Carly, she’s going to take some of her best shots before “rising above.”

It’s not a surprise as Carly’s version of rising above is as convincing and stable as a soufflé.

While she may do just that, she’s going to want to make sure Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) knows her place, and she’ll do so in as hurtful a manner as possible.

Queen Hypocrite Carly won’t be able to pass up a chance to remind Nina that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is “finally” choosing his family over her, when his family is the one that pushed him away for doing what he felt was right.

Of course, Carly won’t know that Sonny was going to decline when the “heartless and evil” Nina told him to go to be with his family. Hopefully, Nina will give Carly’s bullying attempt the smackdown it deserves.

Honestly, we suspect Sonny will show up at the wedding with Nina anyway, as well he should, since it’s about family. Family shouldn’t be about conditions, and that just shows how far the family has fallen under Carly’s stewardship.
