When Ryan alongside Esme and Heather Webber escaped Spring Ridge, they might have gotten away if Ryan had not insisted going to Wyndemere so that he could take Ava with them.

Fans know that he believed that he and Ava were soulmates and he wouldn’t leave her behind. If they hadn’t gone to Wyndemere, they might never have been caught and Ryan wouldn’t be dead.

Even before she lost her memory, Esme hated Ava. So, if she regains her memory, she may add Ava to the list of people that will pay for Ryan’s death.
